3 FAIL-PROOF LASH TAPING HACKS

Sometimes a client needs more than just eye patches…

FOLLOW THESE THREE FAIL-PROOF HACKS TO LASH WITH EASE ON EVERY CLIENT!

HORIZONTAL TAPE HACK

This taping hack works best for those who cannot completely close their eyes, or twitch often. After placing down your gel patches, begin taping from the inner corner, outwards to the end of the eyebrow. Press down to make sure it is in place, but do not apply too much pressure to your guest’s eye- it should be a comforting feeling to them.

VERTICAL TAPING HACK

The vertical taping hack works best for guests with hooded eyes and downward-facing lashes. The vertical tape ensures that the lashes are lifted from the eye patch, making them easier to work with. Begin taping from the bottom of the eyelid up towards the brow bone. After taping, there should be a visible difference in lifted lashes. 

COIN HACK

The coin hack also works if the client’s eyes do not close completely. Follow the horizontal taping method, but place a coin on the eyelid beforehand.

• ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOUR CLIENT IS COMFORTABLE. ASK THEM ABOUT THEIR COMFORT LEVELS THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PROCESS.
